The Quest

Tune: "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer"

Once there was the Belt of Deltora,
Endon had been King for seven years,
Ak-Baba scattered the Belt's gems to many places,
And left the Belt all Mangled up in the tower.
Jarred the blacksmith fixed it up.
Then sixteen years later his son named Lief
Went with a palace guard called Barda
To put the gems back on the Belt.
In the Forests of Silence they met Jasmine,
And got the mighty topaz, symbol of faith.
Next on their journey, The Lake of Tears
Where they found the great ruby, for hope.
Then came the City of the Rats,
With it came the opal, oh so bright.
Then Shifting Sands with Lapis Lazuli,
And next was Dread Mountain for the emerald.
Maze of the Beast
For the amethyst, for calm.
Finally, the Valley of the Lost,
With Diamond shining with strength.
Then they went back to Del,
Traveling in Steven's caravan.
There they defeated the Shadow Lord,
And Lief became the rightful heir.

YAY!

Belt of Deltora

Tune: Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel

Belt of Deltora, Belt of Deltora
I made it out of gems.
When the gems are ready
I'll save Del and take over the Shadowlands.

Deltora Gems

Tune: Jingle Bells

Deltora gems, Deltora gems
They will lead the way.
You can ride on a mudlet open sleigh.

Gripper Field

Tune: Jingle Bells

Dashing home to Del,
In Steven's caravan,
Listening to him,
Singing us the news.
Ak-Baba have flown by,
Ols have crossed the road,
Gripper Field lies to the right,
And ahead are Guardians. Oh!

Gripper Field, Gripper Field,
What in Del is that?
Can't be any worse
Than the things that we have faced, Hey!

We have faced some Ols,
Grey Guards by the Pod,
Sand Beasts and the Shifting Sands,
And the City of the Rats. Hey!

To the right the ground is green,
Must be Gripper Field,
Steven says to us,
The stones are hard to..."

Well what is hard 'bout stones?
Let's cross the Gripper Field.
Oh no, I am sinking
In something that bites and burns, Oh!

Gripper Field, Gripper Field,
What in Del is that:
Well I guess now we know
Wha-ha-hut it is. Hey!

It bites and burns,
And Steven didn't know
That we didn't know. Hey!

I find a stepping stone,
And pull my limbs free.
They're covered in blood.
"The stones are hard to..." See!

Here comes Steven now.
We jump in the caravan.
We tell Steven
Let's go home to Del. Oh!
