After a long ride on the train, Harry and Ron finally arrive at Hogwarts. When they get there they meet the Sorting Hat, a magical that sorts the students into their houses. Harry and Ron both hoped they were in the same house, Gryffindor. Their wish came true an they were in the same house. Gryffindor was one of four houses. The other houses were Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw. Harry and Ron didn't want to be in Slytherin because Lord Voldemort had once been in that house. Harry was starved and luckily, there was a feast held for the Hogwarts students.
